Old fitness craze, delivered with a new spin.
My love for fitness started back in my teens. I played multiple sports as a kid and always enjoyed being active. After I went off to college, I wasn’t involved in sports anymore and my lifestyle unfortunately got the best of me. I vowed to not let that happen ever again.
Fast forward a few years, I was struggling with the traditional cardio options. You know what I mean! The endless stair masters, elliptical and treadmill madness. I would look around and see people scrolling on their phones, reading magazines, and thinking what the heck am I doing here. It didn’t have to be this way. I was an athlete! I wanted excitement in my training that would build coordination, endurance, stamina, and strength.
Enter the jump rope! When I started jumping rope over 15 years ago, I could barely jump for 20 seconds straight let alone not trip every few jumps. This new spin on what I thought was an old outdated exercise fired me up. I became addicted. I loved learning all the new tricks and increasing my endurance and athleticism.
I wanted to share this old fitness craze with others and alas Jump 15 was born. I have now developed the #1 place for jump rope tutorials and nutrition advice & tips.
